A Reflection and Acknowledgement
We begin by recognizing that our work of offering financial health, career readiness and entrepreneurship is deeply connected to place. By committing to give equal opportunities to all youth across this land, and by offering mentorship so youth can develop their full potential, we are looking to engage in acts of stewardship—nurturing the human potential that is part of this ecosystem.
We do this with respect for the fact that these programs operate on the traditional and present-day lands and waters of hundreds of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities, each with their own territories, languages, and histories.
Our commitment to equity and mentorship is one way to honour the enduring relationships these Indigenous Nations have with this territory, and to walk alongside them in caring for the future of all who live here.
May our work continue to be guided by a spirit of care, responsibility, and deep connection to this place and its peoples.
Help us inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
